47 The Eye (1 of 1)

The image I chose for this theme is my cat Hermes’ eye – as it appears to be looking right through you – as in – he is giving you “The Eye”.

If I didn’t know what animal this was, I really wouldn’t know what animal this is! It’s a haunting image.

Great image, Sue, so crisp and clear.

  4. il malocchio — as we would say in the old neighborhood. Beautiful shot, who knew that Hermes would be a star one day?

  5. Ida McBride says:

That is a tremendous shot, Sue. Well done!

  6. very powerful. Does Hermes charge the standard modeling fees?

  7. Marc Barnes says:

Incredible shot! At first, I thought it to be a “Bird’s eye view”. I think Stephen King could use this as a precursor for one of his movies – spooky!

  8. Ron Hecox says:

How id you manage to get your cat to cooperate to get such a nice shot?

    • Sue Karski says:

I picked up the stylus which also has a red laser light which they love to follow. Once I pick it up, I can usually get one or both cats to stare at my hand (the laser light is off) as they wait for me to turn it on. So if I put my hand near the camera lens, with the stylus – I might get a couple of shots off before they get bored waiting. Athena didn’t fall for it, so Hermes was the photo to make it.

  9. George says:

He sure is. How’d you get him to hold still for the shot?

  10. Rebecca says:
